We practice industry leading cleaning and safety protocols, with full details available on our website.

Stampede Park has achieved the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™, joining an exclusive group of leaders in the industry. This accreditation program verifies we have implemented the best practices to prepare for, respond to and recover from outbreaks and pandemics like COVID-19.

Achieving GBAC accreditation is a key part of our commitment to the safety and comfort of our clients and guests by implementing the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in our facilities.

BMO Centre is currently activated and has implemented enhanced hygiene and disinfection practices including:

  • Hand sanitizing stations are provided at all building and event space entrances as well as other locations throughout the venue.
  • High touch surfaces including door handles, elevator and accessibility buttons, handrails, escalators, ATM’s, counters and room controls will be cleaned and disinfected regularly.
  • Washrooms will have established capacities. Trained personnel will perform enhanced cleaning and disinfecting practices and monitor washrooms regularly.
  • Room capacities and queuing adjusted for safe physical distancing.

Under the guidance of Alberta Health Services we will continue to implement the appropriate and current safety procedures and protocols before welcoming guests.
